The cathedral’s remarkable architecture, shaped by the principles of the golden ratio, creates an acoustic experience unlike any other.

Anton Holzapfel is an internationally acclaimed organist and specialist in early music and historical keyboard instruments.
He studied organ and church music in Vienna, as well as harpsichord in Bologna, and has performed as a soloist and continuo player with renowned ensembles such as the Vienna Philharmonic, Concentus Musicus, the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra under leading conductors including Nikolaus Harnoncourt and Riccardo Muti.
His artistic focus lies in historically informed performance, both as a soloist and as organist of the ensemble dolce risonanza. His recordings include works by Bach, Vivaldi, and Haydn, reflecting his deep engagement with the classical repertoire.
Anton Holzapfel is also well known in the real estate industry as Managing Director of the Austrian Real Estate Association - ÖVI.
